The questions we are actually asked, answered without hedging — including the three uncomfortable ones about searched boxes, bad pulls and price matching. If yours is not here, storeprcards@gmail.com reaches a person, Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET.
The short version: order before 3:00 PM ET on a business day and it goes out the same day. Free tracked shipping on every order, no minimum. US addresses only. Sealed product is never weighed, searched, opened or re-wrapped. 30 days to start a return on anything still sealed.
Ordering and payment
When does my order actually ship?
Pay before 3:00 PM ET on a business day and it is packed and shipped the same day. After the cut-off, at a weekend, or on public holidays, it goes out the next business day. There is no separate handling queue — the 24 hours in the shipping policy is the outside figure, not the normal one.
Can I change or cancel after I have paid?
Until the label prints, yes — email your order number and it is done, including a full refund if you want to cancel outright. Once the label prints the parcel belongs to the carrier and we are limited to whatever their redirect service allows. Speed matters more than politeness here: send the order number first and the explanation second.
I typed the wrong address.
Email storeprcards@gmail.com immediately with the order number and the correct address. Missing apartment and unit numbers are what go wrong most often. If a parcel comes back undeliverable because the address was wrong, you can have a refund less the shipping actually incurred, or a reship at cost — shipping is free to you, but a wrong address means the carrier has charged us for the same order twice.
Do you price match?
No. Sealed allocation and single-card prices move week to week and we would be re-pricing the whole catalog against whoever is clearing stock that morning. What we do instead is publish one price and stand behind it. When something is discounted here, the struck-through figure is a price we actually charged — there is no permanent fake "was" price anywhere on this store, and that is written into our terms.
Do I pay sales tax?
Prices are shown before sales tax. It is calculated at checkout from the shipping address you enter, because the rate is set by your state and often by your county on top of that. The total at the payment step is the total.
Is checkout secure, and do you see my card?
Payment runs through Shopify's own checkout over HTTPS. We never see or store your card number — what reaches us is your name, your shipping address and what you bought. The privacy policy sets out the rest.
Can you combine two orders I placed separately?
Usually, if neither has been packed yet. Email both order numbers. It saves you nothing on shipping — that is free on each of them either way — but it means one parcel and one tracking number instead of two.
Shipping and delivery
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free and tracked on every United States order, with no minimum. The rate does not change with weight, with box count or with order value: one pack of sleeves and a sealed case go out on the same terms. No handling fee, no oversize fee, no per-item charge.
How long does it take?
2–5 business days in transit to most US addresses once it is with USPS and UPS. Sealed cases and multi-box orders travel as freight-ground rather than as parcels, which is slower — we email you that estimate before it leaves. All of those are carrier estimates. We control when the parcel goes out; we do not control weather, backlogs or the week either side of a holiday, and we will not promise a delivery date we have no contract to enforce.
Do you ship internationally?
No. US addresses only — all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, the US territories and military addresses. There is no exception, and no arrangement where you buy at the domestic rate and forward it on yourself: orders placed to a known freight-forwarding address are refunded in full rather than shipped. Once a parcel is signed for at a forwarder the carrier's liability ends, and so does any chance of tracing a five-figure card.
Do I have to sign for it?
Every order over $500 ships with signature confirmation, and it cannot be waived — not by asking us and not by leaving a note for the driver. The signature is what makes the parcel insurable; without it a carrier claim has nowhere to start. This is not an edge case here: 143 of the 2538 products in this catalog are priced at $500 or above, and all 32 graded slabs travel under the rule. Send it somewhere a person will be during the day.
There is no tracking number yet.
Tracking is emailed the moment the label prints. If it has not arrived within 1 business day, check spam and the Promotions tab — that is where it is nine times out of ten — then email us and we will resend it.
The tracking number exists but has not moved.
A day or two of nothing is normal: the label is created when we pack, and the first carrier scan happens when the parcel is collected. Nothing is wrong in that gap. If it has not moved for 5 business days, email us and we open a trace. Do not sit on it longer than that hoping it clears — a trace opened early is a trace opened while the carrier still has route data to search.
Tracking says delivered and nothing is here.
Check the property first — porches, side gates, behind planters, the mailroom or front desk — and ask next door. Then give it a full day, because carriers do sometimes scan a parcel as delivered ahead of the actual drop. If it is still missing, tell us within 7 days of the delivery scan. That window is not arbitrary: the route, GPS and scan data we file the claim against is only held for so long, and once it ages out there is nothing left to file.
How do you pack cards?
Three different ways, because three different things leave this building. Sealed boxes and cases go in a rigid double-walled carton with void fill on every face, seal untouched. Graded slabs get a graded-card sleeve, then a form-fit box, then an outer carton. Raw singles are sleeved, toploaded and team-bagged, then shipped in a rigid mailer that will not bend in a mail tray.
Pre-orders
What does pre-order mean here, and when am I charged?
It means the product has not been released yet. You are charged at checkout, in full, the same as anything else — that payment is what holds your allocation. The item ships on the publisher's release date and not before. Everything currently open is in TCG Pre-Orders.
Why is my whole order waiting on one pre-order item?
Because a pre-order in the same cart as in-stock product holds the entire order until everything is ready: one order, one shipment, one tracking number. That is the default and it catches people out. You can have it split. Email storeprcards@gmail.com with your order number and ask — we send what is here today and the pre-order on release day, and it costs you nothing extra, because shipping is free on both parcels. Easiest of all is to check out pre-orders separately in the first place.
What happens if my pre-order is cut by allocation?
Publishers allocate. Sometimes a distributor confirms a quantity and then delivers less of it, and there is no version of that story where a retailer can conjure the difference. If it happens, we email you before the release date rather than letting you find out from a tracking number that never appears, and you get a full refund of the cut portion to your original payment method. We do not substitute a different product, we do not hold your money against a future restock, and we do not quietly ship a partial and hope you were not counting.
The release date moved. Now what?
The date belongs to the publisher and so does the right to move it. When one moves we pass on the new date as soon as we have it. If the new date does not work for you, ask for a refund — a moved release is not a reason to hold your money.
Can I cancel a pre-order before it ships?
Yes. Any time before the release-day shipment, email the order number and we refund it in full. There is no restocking fee in any of these cases. Once it has shipped it is an ordinary order and the 30-day return rules in the refund policy apply instead.
If the price drops before release, do I get the difference?
No, and if it rises we do not ask you for more. The price you agreed at checkout is the price of the order. If a pre-order falls a long way before release, cancelling and re-buying at the lower price is open to you — see the previous answer.
Sealed product and pull rates
Do you search, weigh or map your boxes?
No. Never weighed, never searched, never opened, never re-wrapped. Sealed product leaves here in the state it left the publisher.
Worth spelling out what the question means, because not everyone has seen it done. A hit card sits in a thicker pack, so a scale, a light or a practised hand can find the good packs in a box without breaking a single wrapper. The packs come out, ordinary packs go in, the box is re-wrapped and sold as sealed. What you buy then looks exactly like a sealed box and is not one: the cards you paid the odds for have already gone. That is why the guarantee above is worded as four separate promises rather than one vague one.
Can I return a box because the pulls were bad?
No — and this is the honest reason, not the brush-off. The odds a publisher prints are odds across a print run. One box is a sample of one, and the spread between a great box and a poor one is not a defect in the product; that spread is the product. Nobody selling sealed product can carry that risk for the buyer and stay open.
The second reason matters more. Accepting opened boxes back is precisely how searched product re-enters a store's stock — the box comes back light, gets re-wrapped, and the next customer buys it as sealed. A shop cannot promise the paragraph above and also take opened boxes back. The refusal and the guarantee are the same rule seen from two sides.
What are the odds of pulling a specific card?
We do not publish odds, because they are not ours to publish. Pull rates are set by the publisher, differ between sets, differ between product configurations within the same set, and are only sometimes disclosed at all. Any number we printed here would either be copied from a source we cannot verify or made up. Where a publisher states rates, the publisher's own material is the place to read them.
The shrink wrap is creased, or a corner of the box is dinged.
Sealed product is shipped in cartons, not in display cases, and cosmetic marks on the outer wrap happen in the publisher's own supply chain before we ever see the box. If the seal is intact, the contents are untouched. If the wrap is cut, torn open or resealed, or the box is crushed rather than dinged, that is a different matter — photograph it and email us within 48 hours of delivery. If you are buying to keep the packaging perfect rather than to open it, say so before you order and we will tell you honestly what the box in stock looks like.
Do you sell loose packs out of a broken box?
No. Anything listed here as a pack is a factory-sealed pack or blister from the publisher. We do not break a box down into singles packs — that is the same act as searching it, one wrapper at a time.
Is the product English-language?
The product page states the language, and for Japanese-print product it is in the title. Do not assume from the artwork — several sets in this catalog are printed in both, the card faces look identical in thumbnails, and the sleeves that fit them are different sizes. If the page is not clear, ask before you buy rather than after.
Graded cards and singles
Is the slab in the photograph the slab I get?
Yes. Every graded card is a one-of-one listing photographed individually, and the cert number on the label is the cert number on your invoice. We check it on the way out, and on any return we check it again on the way in. If a listing ever shows a stock image, the page says so in as many words. All 32 are in Graded Cards.
What do the grades on the label mean?
The grade is the grading company's opinion of the card, issued by them and not by us. The three you will see here:
| Grader | How the scale works |
|---|---|
| PSA | One overall grade, 1 to 10, in whole numbers. No subgrades on the standard label. |
| BGS | Overall grade 1 to 10 in half-point steps, plus four subgrades — centering, corners, edges, surface. Black Label is a 10 with all four subgrades at 10. |
| CGC | Overall grade 1 to 10 in half-point steps, with Pristine and Perfect tiers above Gem Mint at the top of the scale. |
Two cards holding the same number are not interchangeable, which is why the $29,999 One Piece BGS 10 in the One Piece graded listings is priced where it is. Read the subgrades, not just the headline number.
Will you crack a slab, re-holder it, or send it for re-grading?
No, to all three. Holders are never cracked, re-holdered or re-submitted here. A slab whose holder has been opened is no longer a graded card, it is a raw card with a story attached, and it cannot come back to us either — the refund policy is explicit about that.
How do you ship a card worth five figures?
The same way as everything else, plus the two things that make it insurable: tracked, and signature-required, because it is over $500. It travels in a graded-card sleeve inside a form-fit box inside an outer carton, with nothing on the outside naming what is in it. If you want it held at a carrier pickup point rather than left at a door, tell us at checkout and we will set it up.
What condition are raw singles in?
The condition is stated on the product page, in the standard terms the hobby uses, and that statement is the description you are buying against. If a card arrives materially worse than described, that is a misdescription, not a change of mind, and it is refunded or replaced regardless of the 30-day window. Raw singles that have left our packaging and cannot be verified as the card we sent are not returnable — a card is not a serialised object and we cannot prove which one came back.
Returns
How long do I have?
30 days from delivery to start a return on sealed product with the factory seal intact, graded slabs in the original holder with a matching cert number, and unopened accessories. Starting it means telling us inside the window — not getting the parcel back inside it. Email storeprcards@gmail.com and wait for a return authorization reference before you ship anything back.
What can never come back?
- Opened sealed product. Shrink-wrap off means the return is off, for the reason set out under pull rates above.
- Cracked or re-holdered slabs, and any slab whose cert number does not match the invoice.
- Raw singles that cannot be verified as the card sent.
- Opened accessories — a broken Dragon Shield seal, a clipped sprue, an opened paint pot. None of it goes back on the shelf.
It arrived damaged.
Photograph the outer carton and the product before you unpack any further. That photograph is what settles a carrier claim; once the packaging is broken down and in the trash there is nothing left to show anyone. Then email us within 48 hours of delivery with the order number and the pictures, and keep the packaging until the claim closes. You choose a replacement or a full refund — we do not choose for you.
Who pays the return shipping?
We do, whenever the mistake is ours — wrong item, damaged in transit, not as described — and you get a prepaid label. On a change of mind the return postage is yours. There is no restocking fee in any of these cases. Anything going back over $500 needs to travel tracked, insured and signature-required, the same rule we apply outbound, because an uninsured five-figure card in the mail is a loss nobody can recover.
How fast is the refund?
To your original payment method within 5 business days of the return arriving and passing inspection — which for a slab means checking the cert number. Your bank then takes another 3–10 business days to post it. That second stretch is outside our control and outside our sight: if you have the refund confirmation and not the money, the answer is with your card issuer.
Can I exchange instead of refunding?
Not as a single transaction. Return the item for a refund and place a new order — on a fast-moving catalog that is also the only way to be sure the replacement is still in stock when yours arrives back. If the fault was ours, ask for a replacement rather than an exchange and we handle it as one job.
Something is missing from the box I bought.
If a sealed product is short a pack or a component the factory should have put in it, that is a collation fault at the publisher and we treat it as faulty rather than as a pull-rate complaint. Photograph the contents as found, keep everything including the wrap, and email us. It is one of the few cases where an opened box still has a route to a remedy.
Accessories
Which sleeve size do I need?
Card size decides it, and there are only two answers across this catalog:
| Game | Card size | Sleeve to buy |
|---|---|---|
| Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, Digimon, Riftbound, Union Arena, Dragon Ball, Flesh and Blood, Cookie Run | Standard, about 63 × 88 mm | Standard sleeves, about 66 × 91 mm |
| Yu-Gi-Oh!, Weiss Schwarz | Japanese small, about 59 × 86 mm | Small or Japanese-size sleeves, about 62 × 89 mm |
Standard sleeves on a Yu-Gi-Oh! card leave it swimming, and small sleeves will not close over a Magic card at all. All 202 packs are in Card Sleeves, of which 96 are Dragon Shield; the size is on every product page and the product page is the authority, not this table.
Should I double-sleeve?
Double-sleeving is worth it for anything you would be upset to bend — a slab is protection, a sleeve is not. The usual method is a tight-fitting inner sleeve loaded from the side, sealed inside an outer sleeve loaded from the top, so there is no open edge for dust or moisture. It roughly doubles deck thickness, which is the thing people forget until the deck box will not close.
Will my sleeved deck fit the deck box?
Capacity is stated on each product page, and it is stated for unsleeved cards unless the page says otherwise. Single-sleeved, assume you lose roughly a third of the stated count; double-sleeved, closer to half. If you double-sleeve a 100-card Commander deck, buy the box above the one that looks right. All 98 are in Deck Boxes.
How do I choose a binder?
Two things decide it. Side-loading pockets rather than top-loading, because a top-loading pocket lets cards slide out when the binder is upside down. And a zip if it will travel. Pocket count per page — usually 9, sometimes 4 or 12 — is on the product page across the 95 in Binders. Do not put a sleeved card into a pocket sized for an unsleeved one; forcing it is how corners get dinged.
Do playmats and paints survive shipping in extreme weather?
Playmats ship rolled, not folded, and any curl relaxes flat within a day or two under something heavy — all 57 are in Playmats. The 130 Warhammer paints are the real weather question: they are water-based acrylics, and a pot that freezes solid in a delivery vehicle can separate permanently. In a hard freeze, either ship to an address where the parcel will not sit outside, or wait for a warmer week. If a pot arrives separated, email us within 48 hours and we will sort it out.
Do you sell singles-storage and bulk options?
Yes — 632 accessories in total across sleeves, boxes, binders, playmats and storage, in All Accessories. If you tell us what you are storing and roughly how much of it, we will point you at the right one rather than the expensive one.
